In 2014 igr was awarded, through a competitive tendering process, an American armed forces framework contract (IDIQ - Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity). These framework contracts are put together without a precise description of the work contracted (Indefinite Delivery) or a definition of its scope (Indefinite Quantity). Every year the US Defence Department issues such programmes, which allow the US users to award these framework contracts and to implement individual projects on this basis.

The framework contract has a duration totalling five years (an initial year and four subsequent years). The first contract under the framework contract was awarded to igr in August 2014. Since then, a total of 14 further individual projects have been commissioned. The projects are subject to continuous quality control by the responsible American departments.

In October 2015 igr received the first assessment of the services it has provided. A total of 11 completed projects were assessed (CPAR - Contractor Performance Assessment Report). The outcome was that the areas of Quality, Schedule and Management were assessed as "Very Good".
