Creation of flood maps of Bruchbach-Otterbach

In accordance with § 76 WHG-Gebiete, flood plains are found between surface water courses and dikes or high banks and other areas, which during a flood are inundated or flowed through, or which are used for flood relief or retention. The Bruchbach-Otterbach catchment area extends from the Pfalz forest in the west, to Neupotz am Altrhein in the east. The flood plains for the area south of Schweighofen as far as the banks of the Rhein east of Jockgrim, were displayed graphically. The services were provided for the Southern Structure and Approval Management’s regional office for water management, waste management and soil protection in Neustadt.
