igr won in the national competition and was awarded the contract for the renovation of the "Parkhof" in the southern Hessian city of Heppenheim.

The "Parkhof" is the largest, central inner-city park area in the city and is therefore of great importance for the public. The project is also in the focus of the public and politics because it is in connection with the framework of a federal-state urban development program.

The aging area should be completely redesigned and meet modern aspects of inner-city street environment. An additional challenge in this project is hidden: under the square there is a bunker remains from the "Cold War", the stability of this bunker will play a central role.

With its interdisciplinary team, igr is happy to face this "not easy construction site", as it was already described by Mayor Burelbach.
