Route planning for a solar park – eastern Germany

Our client had planned the construction of the Eggersdorf solar park with a nominal output of ca. 20.5 MWp. The Eggersdorf solar park is sited within the bounds of the Steinhöfel municipality and the town of Müncheberg in the Oder-Spree and Märkisch-Oderland districts, on the Eggersdorf-Müncheberg airfield. igr was commissioned with the planning and the securing of easements for the cable route from the solar park to the feed-in point at the Fürstenwalde/Spree sub-station.

All effected service providers were contacted in order to compile an inventory of the service crossing points. The ecological considerations for the entire route were dealt with in cooperation with the environmental authorities. In addition, authorisation applications were settled with the road construction authority and the gas pipeline operator. Finally, the implementation planning with survey point lists for the cable route was prepared. Besides the technical civil engineering, the project also encompassed the securing of easements for the route. Permissions for use and land access were settled with all private landowners, and leaseholder consents obtained.
