Support for GIS introduction, the Enkenbach-Alsenborn municipality

A “pipework register with database” was introduced in the Enkenbach-Alsenborn municipality. Here the need for and scope of a GIS system were analysed on the basis of existing data, and, in line with the needs of the municipality, an ESRI based GIS system and a Barthauer based networked land register were recommended. This system was created and introduced.
